PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICES

Cancer and other life limiting illnesses
Palliative care isn’t only for people with cancer. I offer support for anyone living with a life-limiting condition, including:
Dementia
Advanced neurological illness (e.g., Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis)
Chronic kidney disease
Post-stroke care
Advanced heart or lung disease
Frailty and age-related decline
This care is for those who want more than just managing a diagnosis—it’s for those seeking comfort, clarity, and support.

Second layer of support
Palliative care is a second layer of support—working with your current treating team, not instead of them. I provide:
Assessment and treatment of anxiety or depression
Expert pain and symptom management
Support with difficult conversations—about prognosis, care preferences, and future planning
Advance care planning and help navigating treatment decisions
Family support and guidance—because illness affects everyone, not just the person diagnosed
Whether you're still pursuing active treatment or beginning to shift goals, palliative care helps improve quality of life.

My Approach
I meet patients and families where they are—emotionally, physically, spiritually. My goal is never to rush decisions, but to provide space, information, and support so that every next step is intentional and compassionate.
About me
My journey into palliative care began with personal loss. My father had a haemorrhagic stroke due to brain metastases from melanoma. He wanted to go home—or to hospice—but that wasn’t the path the rest of the family chose. Despite my training and instincts, I couldn't change the outcome. That experience shaped me. It left me with a deep resolve to walk alongside others facing similar crossroads—patients and families who deserve care that honours comfort, dignity, and choice.
